We are very excited to be starting prep on our next feature which the much loved and uniquely talented Simon Pegg and Nick Frost will executive produce. The first offering under Stolen Picture, Pegg and Frost’s just announced new banner, SLAUGHTERHOUSE RULEZ sees them getting back to their comedy horror roots.

SLAUGHTERHOUSE RULEZ is set in an elite boarding school where boys and girls are groomed for power and greatness and they’re about to meet their match. The story’s hero, Don Wallace, is a wide-eyed new boy from a modest background forced to navigate a baffling new world of arcane rules and rituals, presided by sadistic sixth formers. Matters of status are aggressively enforced and conversation with school goddess Clemsie, are strictly forbidden.

But this ancient and ordered world is about to be shaken to its foundations – literally – when a controversial frack site on prize school woodland causes seismic tremors, a mysterious sinkhole and an unspeakable horror is unleashed. Soon a new pecking order will be established as pupils, teachers and the school matron become locked in a bloody battle for survival.

Frost and Pegg will executive produce from a script by Crispian Mills and Henry Fitzherbert. The film will be produced by Catalyst’s Charlotte Walls and is backed by Sony Pictures for whom Josephine Rose will executive produce. Co-writer Mills is in the director’s chair.

Pegg and Frost established their signature brand in cult series Spaced and have since worked together on alien comedy Paul and most famously Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz and The World’s End (A.K.A. The Cornetto Trilogy) directed by Edgar Wright.
