CUCKOO SONG is the story of 11-year-old Theresa Cresent, who after a serious accident experiences lapses of memory and bizarre compulsions. When she investigates, she learns that she is actually not Theresa at all but a magical changeling left in place of the kidnapped girl, who now faces a terrible fate in the hands of a mysterious and sinister architect. a creature of magic, the changeling can only survive for seven days. She resolves to use that time, with the reluctant help of the Cresents’ younger daughter Pen, to find and reduce the real Theresa Cresent, whatever that quest might cost her…
